Description
What is it about Farmer's Daughters that attract our attentions so?
How have they become such fixtures as symbols of innocence... or lack thereof?
I guess we'll just never know...
((Sky rendered in Terragen, background rendered in 3ds Max with 180,000 strand of "hair" as grass; Foreground rendered in Poser 5 with 20,000 "hair" grass strands. The overalls are a dynamic clothing item, and the hair is, of course, Kozaburo hair. The character and pose are from BH's GND package, slightly tweaked...)

The overall doesn't seem really natural to me. Still, I'd go for a roll in the hay anytime.

What a super cool image, that little grin on her face is telling me this farmers daughter is up to something. lol

yeah, the foreground "grass" doesn;t look much like grass. it might have been better to make the foreground just dirt or something. its still better than anything i could ever do, great image.

svdl - mayhap she has already gone for a roll & the overalls belong to another party? ;) Well - I like the grass myself. I can tell from her hair that there is a light wind and the grass is bending just so the same way. I can see some dirt through the grass in the foreground, so it doesn't look like golf course turf, but well grown field grass. :) So....all I wanna know is...why doesn't she want us to see what's behind that hillock? I wonder how long ago you posted this, and how you would approach this today. Clothing folds show attention to detail. Grass is bending the wind, however for all that wind, her hair is just sitting there. Grass detail, too even. Not much variation in height and color. She standing on toes or does the ground slope toward the viewer? Over all, still very good. I like it because you are doing something creative with the application of grass,
