Description

That dog never seems to move from that spot Comments and suggestions welcome and Happy New Year to all. Thank ye kindly for looking lads and lasses! VuePro/Poser/Painter/Photoshop This piece was done as an experiment in some elements that I felt I needed practice in. Due to the posing, it is one of the most complicated scenes I've done. The dungeon was modelled in VuePro with Booleans. The fire effect in the background was painted in Painter and then used as an alpha plane in back of the window. The three pirates and the original dog were posed in Poser individually and I have new respect for those that do multiple people in a scene. I say the original dog because the texture for some reason wouldn't appear correct on the dog, so I wound up painting over the original dog with my own texturing cause he looked like a statue originally. Other elements, such as hair, some of the clothes, etc, were painted in painter also. Cleanup and color correction was done in Photoshop. this is just beautifully done - very good idea with the fire alphaplane behind the window, turnes out great - really good postwork all around, and lol ireally know what you mean posing more than one figure in a scene :-) - and hey, i really would love to see one day the theme park - never was there :-( --

Oh, this is great! You really put all this together so well. And it really does capture the display in the Pirates ride. Those characters behind bars are loaded with personality. Excellent work. :o) CC

Your work is always so well executed and inspiring. I love the image of the pirates begging that dog to come. Animals always have their own minds. Your imagery goes beyond excellence. Great lighting, colors and wonderful detail in the stone walls and the jail cell...Have a wonderful evening my dear friend!...Cheryl

Great scene! Your description is very good, but the picture tells the whole story! [Hey! Ironic! Just yesterday, I found the perfect (free) "Rapscallion" font at www.chank.com. I immediately typed "ARRRGH" as a test. Someday you all might need something like that!]
