Description
I photographed this interesting(at least I think so) structure during my recent trip to Arizona. It sits near the entrance of a big desert park there. I got the idea for transforming the background like this (and also some other "non-background" postwork) from an article that features the works of Artist/Photographer Ed Freeman in my Feb. 2004 edition of PCPhoto Magazine. He also has a new book out called "Desert Realty". I may just have to check this one out. He does some very cool looking stuff indeed..."Freeman finds interesting and often odd structures in the desert of S. California. He transforms them by removing distractions and creating a new background. In a way, the photo becomes a portrait of the original structure."
