I really love the way you've handled the lighting and the snow here; they work together very well. We get all too few such days in my neck of the woods, but they are always very refreshing to the spirit when they come around.
I have a problem though with issues of scale. The animals either seem too large, or the foreground trees too small. The finches for instance are fatter than the trunks of most of those trees, and although to a lesser extent, the fox also seems too large by comparison. But a very pleasing image notwithtanding.

Beautiful winter scene!

Very nice job, and very cold scene! If you adjust the scale of the animals, it would look more realistic.

Hi, all! Thank you for your comments. To explain the visible disproportion: I intended to show some underwood at the edge of the Northern forest (commonly young bush-like alder, birch etc.).That is why I made the trees that small and thin. And I didn't make the animals smaller to keep the features clearly visible. And besides I liked the trees' shadows on the snow ;^)
