Description
well, this is my first attempt at inking full stop, let alone on a comp, using a mouse.
i know that there are alot of flaws, but with a few decades practice, i might produce something half as good as the stuff i see here :)

it's not too bad actually - but you need to paint UNDER the outline. Do this by setting the outline layer to "multiply" mode in the layers palette and then make a new layer underneath onto which you paint you flat colours, then use new layers for the shades and highlights as required. You could also consider darkening the lineart layer by adjusting the levels

Sean's advice above is pretty much right on target. The only thing I'd add would be that you need to vary your line widths as well; look at supafly's or lasticonz or lazerus's gallery here for some great line weighting to see what I mean. But, this is in no way a ndegative.. I can see alot of talent and ability in this... keep up the great work!
