Hi all,I'm MrTed,I'm here hoping to meet some people, share some photos, and learn from those willing to give up some secrets.I've had a camera around most of my life,But recently I've been trying to take it to the next level. I'm from S.E. Pa., I'm 43 and counting.I'm a foreman for a local commercial concrete company.I also love to sketch....by hand...with real paper!!!(lol), I work in graphite pencils and pen & inks. I dont consider myself a photographer, just someone who likes cameras and taking pictures. I seldom go out to take a picture that i hope to hang on the wall. But now and then one or two will make me say "hey that one came out good". (Even a blind squirrel will find a nut now and then lol.) I'm happily married to a great lil woman. If ever there's a woman in one of my pics...most likely it's her. I'm a bit shy about asking a strainge woman to pose for me. she may think I'm a perv or something lol. My first Digi Cam was a Nikon coolpix 800. My early gallery shots cam from this cam. Then I upgraded to the Minolta Dimage A1. The rest of the gallery comes from that camera. *Enough for now*

Excellent picture depicting an excellent mood. Love the capture and the tone to it. You must be getting lots of geometrical subjects in your job, right??;)

Thank you Creanum, Snakey ..umm not really,I almost never take the camera to work.Something about dust, dirt, and heavy equipment....I'm afraid I'll mess up my cameras. And Cynlee thank you also,How much would you charge me to learn how to use the edit programs like you ;)

A wonderful atmosphere in this image.

I like the symetry of these bulidings, they allow good lighting in the large uncomplicated constructions. With regards to your question to Cynlee (lovely lady that she is) do what we all do...just practice and free your mind with expirimentation...it's fun :) Try Paint Shop Pro 8 for starters or you can download the latest edition of Photoshop CS for free from the Adobe site...you get a full 30 day trial version, it's cool!
