Great great modeling, and an impressive realistic render. You did a superior job without the use of GI. I could only imagine the realism you would achieve had you used it... you would have to put it in the photography section. ;-) One thing I'm seeing that I don't quite know why it's there... in the top pic, on the front headlights there seems to be some yellow areas in the specular regions of the glass. Is that a reflection of some sort, or perhaps a render artifact of some kind?

Thanks for all of the comments. To Mali, it was made with spline and ploy. To Zandar, you have good eyes man, the yellow specular in the headlight glass is reflection.

WAY cool beemers! The realism of these models is incredible, Kenny - the shadows and how the light reflects off the surfaces. These must take a TON of work to perfect like this - VERY impressive, man!

You reall should re-do the images (re: file compression).. the jaggies kill your work! From what I can see, though, your attention to detail is excellent!

The second one looks a lot more real than the first. It's still not photographic, but it's damn close for not using GI.

You really did an awesome job Kenny!! Both modeling, texturing and lightning and rendering! It's harder to nicely texture a car then I imagened and this looks Exellent! Without GI or HDRI! I look forward to the others!!:)
