I signed up at Renderosity in 2000 and spent a few years being inspired by some great artists around here, and learn from them. I was moderator for the Vue forum here at Renderosity from 2004 to 2008. If you want to learn about Vue, or share some tips, I encourage you to visit us. IÂ am currently drifting away from pure CGÂ and more into digital painting. I wish your staying at Renderosity will be as warm and instructive as it has been for me.
BIO
I was born in France and currently living in the USA. I have a technical background in Computer Science and a strong attraction for anything related to graphism (from visualizations, image analysis to photography and computer graphics). For the past few years, my work in CG has developed into something a little more serious than a hobby, with growing aspiration to turn it into something professional.
I also have a personal website at : Linfa.net. It is growing slower than I would like but hopefully it is worth visiting. Among other things, this site contains my main gallery, a section dedicated to Computer Graphics called Tricks and Treats and a link to my Store, where you can purchase t-shirts, posters, calendars and other products using some of my designs.
My 'trilogy' of tools is Poser for characters, Vue Infinite for atmospheres and rendering and Photoshop for touching up. I am currently practicing with Painter (not much to show so far) and learning modeling with Hexagon and Zbrush.

oh AWESOME!!! did you use that tutorial that someone posted in your prior image? if so, EXCELLENT results from the tutorial, if not... OUTSTANDING results on your own!! I loved this image when I seen it the first time, but the lighting coming from the blinds makes it that much more perfect :) BRAVO!!

I agree with Debbie! Beautiful!!! The lighting made all the difference in the world! Great work!!

This is VERY nice !! The lighting is wonderful!

Debbie - The tutorial was about doing the same kind of lighting without having the blinds. I already had the blinds prop from the 'free stuff' area, so I did not really have to use the tutorial. By the way, that 'blinds' prop is just perfect - you can control the height and the opening of the blades very easily. The credits go to silvermage for that prop.

The whole image is very beautiful.. lovely model and such a good idea. One of the nicer images I have seen around here... sure beats some perverted nude pics that others put up on here.
