Description

I need advise on what to do with this pic. I love the sky. But the terrain and water are lacking. I'm still new to terragen. So any advise on what I can do to make this pic better is welcome.

Great use of colour - it's hard to say what to do with the terrain and it's quite dark. Alter the lighting on it, and perhaps play with the surface?

I would drop the terrain entirely and go for a space scene! That looks like a nebula of the best kind! I absolutely love the colors.

Agree with ComplxMind - go for a space scene. The lighting's amazing, and the colours are excellent.

I've never tried to make a space scene. But that sounds like a good idea. I'll see what I can do. Thanks.

The sky is very good, and very interesting. Yes, I agree: try a space scene. You can also do a near earth scene where you see only clouds. Your mountains in back have promise. If you lighten the terrain and work on surface and water, you can make a nice picture. Try different things. If you want to work more specifically and ask me questions, IM me. :)
