Description

I took this photograph last year during a medical congress in St. Anton, Austria. We had snowfalls for two weeks and at last I had problems to leave the alpin pass, because the road was closed due to the risk of avalanches. Only for some minutes within those two weeks the sun came out and waited until I took this photograph. Five minutes later the snowfall continued. Greets from Austria and thx for viewing, Ikarius.

Great pic you have there but you did a bad decision with your thumb. The image is a lot better than your thumb .. at least that's what i think .. doesn't necessarily mean a lot :)

Raven, you are totaly right! I'm just experimenting with the thumb, well, it's just like advertising - if the thumb is off-putting, noone looks at the picture. I will think about it - and make better thumgs in the future :o)

Oh, I forgot: This is of course a panorama shot - two pictures spliced together.
