ok i know its a crappy render (preview quality) but im just experimenting with soft focus effects within maya, thought there pics looked ok though. comments welcome...

Very nice! Maybe you should do the softfocus as an compositing effect rather then render it. Just an idea. ;)

Looks great, but the motion blur effect (if that's what it is) kills it too much. I'd get rid of it.
