Description

Yet another of Vigeland's series "Cycle of Life". Notice how smooth the stone is on the little boy's body and on the mom's back. This is one of the really neat things about the park. The statues are "free" for the kids to climb on, - and this is one of the more popular ones. Thank you for your comments. They are allways welcome. :)

It shows the reality of parenthood and is an impressive piece. The ability for children to romp over the stues is inspiring and hopefully help them get close and more appriative of creations like this. Nice work.

Thank you guys. :) Ralph, - the park is in Oslo, Norway. I have some more informationa about it (and other pictures) from a visit there 3 years ago. Same time of year; almost same kind of weather too. l http://www.db-online.com/noram/newyears.htm
