Here are Chuck's personal words to the community:
I am a self-taught artist, formerly working in traditional or conventional media. For the last two years I have been experimenting with CG (Computer Graphics), and trying to transition from traditional/conventional media to digital imaging. In a few words, I simply love art and always have. Many of my images are "post-worked" by hand, re-scanned and manipulated in Photoshop. On occasion, I still use pencil, Prismacolor, Silverpoint, Pen & Ink or painting to achieve the desired effect. Whether executed the "old way" or the "new way" or a combination of both, which I often fall back on.
Art is art and it is the end result that is (hopefully) appreciated.

The other gallery: the gallery of the mind. You are firmly entrenched in my mind, Chuck. We've been praying for you and pulling for you. Hope all the signs are good. Artists should not have to undergo chemo and radiation. Artists should be blessed with perfect health. The world needs all the artists it can get.
