Description

Hey, I intended to post art here, not just cute animal photos! But this one is by request thanks to WandM. Can I at least solicit some expert advice on this? I eliminated some distracting background elements by just blackening them out. Any one have a better approach to this problem they can share with me?

Ewe...... this is just beautful. Beautiful from all angles and what just happens needs no doctoring or altering. The composition itself took a mood of it's own. Honestly, even if there were something in the background it wouldn't disturb me the least. :O)) This is EXCELLENT!:O))

I do NOT believe it! What a mega shot! How did you..., How long did it take to.... Thank you for a pix that I will KEEP. It's a LOT more than "cute." Many thanks.

This is a fantastic shot of two lovely cats! Agree with Snakey. It's a capture of a cats life moment and therefor needs no touch ups. We want more :)

You could try cuting out the area with the objects in the background as a selection, and then bluring them out of focus, just as if you had used a focal range on your camera. it is only about as time consuming as blackening it out, plus you can play with the level of blur you need to make the background less distracting. There might be some good light and color in that background that could help the composition of your photo, so play with it and only black it at last resort. BTW great shot of the "kissing kittys" :) Looks as though he's planting a wet one on the other's cheek lol

Absolutely adorable! I have two cats - brothers - who look a lot like these two. :) You've made my day.

As a catlover I just adore this! Look at the satisfaction in the little cat's face! Lovely:
