Description

I just downloaded Terragen a couple of days ago, and this is my first image. I need some feedback to improve my images. Thanks for viewing. :)

That's pretty cool, looks like my first cranked out experimenting images when I got the program. I like the Point of View. Here's some advice, I think you need more and varying surfaces, vary with slope/altitude, and you definitely want more than 3 in this case and probably almost all cases. It's kind of strange to see the really steep parts with green on them. Well that's what I can say from my very small Terragen experience myself :)

MJK is right, you have an excellent POV. But this image needs more, vary the colours and texture of your surfaces, it will add more realism in your image. Good luck.

Excellent first attempt! Great point of view (pov) and sky. Try adding more layers to your surface - I see you've started experimenting with that already.

Thank you all for your advice. I will work on it some more later this week and post an update. Thanks again, Paul
