Description
THis image is created in Photoshop 7.0. I took a picture of my friend Anthony on a flag pole. I cut him out and pasted him on a speeder image taken directly from Star Wars. At that time I cut him out while on the speeder and put him on a nice nature background on Earth. I added a little splash in the back of him from a speedboat image just for effect, and a drop shadow on the water. Please give me comments on how to make this image better, for next time.

Well for your first photoshop image it is ok. Too much motion blur is used, which makes your friend on the speeder look unatural. Also i noticed you added a shadow for him, which there should not be one. Also the shadow for the speeder should be "distorted" , travelling at high speens with a speeder would not give such a natural shadow so distort it some. Also the waves at the back don't look like they are from a speeder (or even if it was a boat) Maybe add some water splashing upwards. In all it is good for a first image, and in time you will get better. -LeFrog http://www.dragonfrostgraphics.com

A few things i'd reccomend. Mountains in the background are too blurred. Mid Picture, that maybe should be slightly blurred, depending at what speed your going. Try looking at a wake created by a boat, it's not all white ya know :D Mostly just the water being parted with a few ripple lines. Exhaust fumes maybe should be grey if theres some of that in there. The ripples in the water should probable start under the speeder, rather than behind, if you get what i mean, and maybe form an arrow type shape. Not bad for a first effort, just needs thinking through a little.

Good image. Those Star Trek speeders don't make exhaust.
