Description

Well, I'm a newbie when it comes to this. It's already been done much better by other artists around here, but I'm learning. Obviously the colors was not orientated right. Although I found the render oddly interesting so I decided to upload. Fractal originally created in Ultra Fractal 3. -Theli

I think you created a nice 3D effect and the colors are lovely, the only thing that could be improved upon is sharpness but maybe you loose the effect you were trying to get.

Well I'm not massively keen on the colours on the part closest to us, but I love them elsewhere, especially the raised green parts in the middle. Like you I find it oddly compelling - the way-off-centre composition shouldn't work, but does. The more I look, the more I like!

It is fascinating to see what happens when a fractal meets a 3d program! I wonder if you have the ambience too high, that often makes the colors wash out. A very good start!
