Ingenious Designs Inc.BIOI've been using Max since 2.0. My friend, Lazerblade (renderosity member) first introduced me to the wonderful world of Max when he purchased a tutorial book, and it included a CD-Rom of Max 2.0. I wasnt too into the whole idea of 3d-modeling at the time, but after a while of him making a ball roll around the screen with the animation tool, i decided to give it a try. I really have enjoyed it ever since. I went through the whole tutorial book, and did every tutorial, then purchased a copy of 2.5, 3.0 ... all the way up to what i have now, 6.0. I still am going to school, so i have to make time to use Max.. but every time i get on, i try to learn something new. lazerblade would be proud =)

Overall, very good wood

If you bevel the edge of the vase a bit more, you should be able to pick up some nice specular highlights around the rim to add to the realism. I think the bump on the wood is a bit much, either that or you may want to decrease the glossiness a bit. The wood looks old and a bit worn, so I'm not sure it would be so shiny. Good job on the flowers.
