Description

This is a view of the south and west councourse in the Massillon arena. This was a project that I've done construction drawings for, but it still hasn't been--and may never be--built. So I decided to build a model of it to see what it might have looked like. I know this is a "less than perfect" rendering. But having spent so much time modelling it, and finding it so dull, I didn't bother to go further. Let me know what you think, please. ---------------------------------------------- Jan. 18, 2004 I fixed the antialias problem.

VERY nice. I like the fisheye lens so we can see everything, but I'd love to see a standard shot as well because your lighting looks wonderful

I love the construction on the image! It's obvious that a lot of time went into the construction of this scene. Try to watch out for repeating patterns, like the tile floor and ceiling. I also agree that the lighting is wonderful! Did you use radiosity for the lighting?

This looks like a superb modeling job you did here. Hard to make out the details with the 360 degree camera you used, but I can certainly tell you put in some time here.

THe fish eye efect is very cool it all looks very great, the lighting and modelling but....it seems the antialias was off since there is some jag on the edges....you might wanna turn it on.

Looks 'real' to me, and a sharper render would make it a photo even more, but thats not a problem. 'Real' means a lot.

At first it looked to me like a reflection in a christmas-ball :). Looks great! Beautiful lightning!! Now I know what you're talking about in your next render!

Looks like a promising pic, but you need to upsample your image's antialiasing to get rid of those jagged artifacts all over the place.
