I spent 5 years working for a leading Park Ave, advertising firm. From there I moved on and I am currently a Telecommunications and Networking professional working on projects around the world. I get to do 3D for my job but not nearly as much as I'd like. Lightwave, Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver are but a few apps in which I am proficient.

That's the same top ....way to photoshop. You did a good job though. You matched the lighting pretty well.

Still does not feel right though. I am going make the top a bump map and template for a model. As I do not want to have to do post. Can not do post in animation. The thing that kills the image is the lack of getting a non black shadow. The lighting and coloring is spot on or The top move would not have worked so well. It was basically a cut, paste and deform. The color matched up very well. No surprise since I sampled the colors from the image when texturing the other meshs. There is alot of fine texture work with a highly modified bump map to get the effect of the prominent veins in the arms and the hands. So this is going to sit on the shelf until I find a way to get the shadow tones right.

Scale down the belt a bit and darken the metal and I think you're set. The thing about the shadows that catches me the most is behind the glasses... maybe you could paint the shadows onto the skin, and switch skins if/when she takes the glasses off. damn good so far though. Trinity's 3d stunt double? heheh

WOW now i`m confused!! 8)

The the arm looks very wooden, she seems to be looking at nothing - the vest looks good, but then it is the photograph flipped horizontally - so it would

The only thing wrong is the jawline:) it is not quite right, otherwise than that this is awesome!:) The Matrix is the absolute best movie:) good choice in character representation:) Do Neo next, he is a god:)

Hmm, well as pointed out by somebody else, the shoulder and vest are photoshop rubber stamp anyway so not really easy to assess the lighting acurately, doesnt look exactly right on the head etc. but a good start! - Maybe Vicky would have been a better source model for Trinitys features, posette(!?), doesnt have the right look to me, and lastly, the hair looks stuck on to me! - keep at it! :)

Great work...I mean, really...fabulous. I have a few suggestions though. As stated earlier, scale down belt. Also, try bringing the arm down a little bit. The arm just seems a bit high for someone who is trying to shoot someone else in the head, who is of their same height (that's a bit...confusing.) Really great work. Tweak a few other small details and it'll be perfect.

The trinity on the left is a standin. I am using the image to get the lighting and the color of the character on the right correct. The character she will be shooting is a agent, taller than she is.
