BIO
I am a new artist - learing the ropes in the various 3d programs. I am hoping to enhance my skills through the association with the fantastic artists in Renderosity. I am a better 3d modeler than using the various render programs - but I am getting there.

I'm a huge GhostRecon player and that's one of many weapons of choice, next to my trusty SAW! lol

Oh, the old version of the project. Not bad. Just by the way: The weapon itself is not called OICW. OICW is the design and development project. The weapons military designation is XM-29 as long as it is experimental. The day it goes into service (which will probably be never) that changes to M-29. All in all I must say, that your model is one of the better modelled M-29s around. You should make a bigger picture of it, so the details can be seen better. Great work!

one small nitpick with the XM-29 the last info i read says it has a 20mm rifle that fires various types of rounds not a grenade launcher. the 20mm rounds are tied into the sighting system so that they can (for example with an HE round) be set for detonation at various ranges. say if somebody is hiding behind a structure/wall the round can be programmed to air burst above them etc...or simply punch through the fortification with a penetrator round.
