Yeah I can see how you'd have to use post to get the crusty barnacles and extra specular highlights. Must have taken awhile to develop the eye for all those little details that push your work to the forefront. Outstanding image!

Your atmospheres are exemplified here. I've never used UIC, but there's just no other artist I know who can do this, so it may be part tool, but it's 100% Rochr-cool. Blub, blub... hissss... all that's missing is the sound of a scuba regulator.
