This is the second image of my little 'Enterprise' series. Hope you like it ! Meshes downloaded from the Star Trek Meshes Collection. NCC 1701-D mesh by Chris Setterington. Conversion and added detail by Erik Timmermans.

Thanks to all !! @ czarnyrobert: The backround is a 2d-face supplied with a bitmap, the bitmap is a noise, created in Photoshop by using Kai's power tools plugin, than I applied a little transparency and a little bumpiness to the bitmap, add a few light sources and tried different lightsettings until this came out.

...this image was made as render times where high and web space was low. I didn't rendered a higher resolution...maybe I will render a hires version soon and put it in here.... so check this site out frequently ;-)
