Description

I worked on this scene over a long period of time, but finished most of it within the last couple weeks. It is supposed to be a colony on a planet from another solar system. It has several buildings, including a couple for research, a greenhouse, and living quarters. The rover vehicles were my last project that I created. The rover body was a separate file that I imported.

Nice job. The domes turned out nice, I really like the textures you used on the crossbars for the dome on the lower left.

The hot house for plants worked out very well and plays well in the light.

I like the idea and is a good try. I'd recommend reducing some of the smoothness if you want to make it look more realistic. I hope to see more from you.

Wonderful to view and shows a lot of skill, care, and detailed work went into the creation! My favorite bits are the overall building and vehicle style, the plant filled dome (great tribute to "Silent Running"), the lighting, the sky and the hint of sea right near the mostly desert terrain. Closeup view of the super textures on the left dome is a nice treat too. Excellent artistic creation tkaes us to another world! ~V~
