Description

This one took me a long time to work on, and to tell the truth, I stopped and just got it sort of done cuz I'm burnt out on it. I'm sure I'll return and refine it another time, but I just kept getting sidetracked onto other things... Anyway, I got a lot of help from rickymaveety on this one... A lot of the rugs were gotten from www.spongobongo.com had a lot of uses for these. The awnings and door hang, plus the blue tile pattern on the mosque/shrine were made with different rugs... I know it needs a lot of work, but my main points with the camera angle which were: getting the mosque and it's entrance into view, showing the awnings (I had fun with those), and getting a view of the inside of the close hut... All these things actually took away from the image. Man, it needs help. I'll get back to it later. Cory

There's one thing that detracts from the image for me: the lack of shadows. Otherwise, i like it and think it has a lot of potential. You've done a great job with the parts that you've done. Keep it up.

Love it, especially the shrine in the background.

I like this a lot! You should definitely return to this one later! The texture work is excellent! I like the POV that you used. With some lighting added, this view of the Mosque could be very dramatic. The only other suggestion, would be to dirty the place up a little, to make it look a little more lived in. Excellent!!!
