33 year old living in Dallas, TX. I am in a wonderful relation ship with a wonderful woman. I have a dog, and two cats. Love playing golf, watching cartoons and documentaries on television.
BIOI first got into 3D when a friend of mine sold me his copy of Bryce 5. Since then I have also purchased and began to dabble in poser, Maya, and lightwave. Since I am so new and I have so many mediums in which to play with I have not as of yet mastered any of them. It is for that reason that I have selected "I have no idea what I am doing" as my motto. I am eager to learn however, and am very excited about everything that I undertake that I am having a blast even if some of my work sucks. But hey, no body is perfect.

Find some textures in 3d websites and add them to your materials. You can get realistic rust easily this way.Keep it up.Still a good render.

The lighting looks fine to me. I like how much weight the links look like they have. Good job there!

My suggestion right off would be like amethyss said.... get some textures and add them to your texture library. Go here and get our July 2003 Bryce Challenge .mats. We created them and wanted to share them with whoever needed or wanted them. There are 220 materials for ya there. http://market.renderosity.com/~bryce/newsite/challenge/challenge_resources/pages/challenge_mats_1.htm Cool image though. Like bigbadelf said... the links seem to exhibit their weight in their positioning. Nice job man. 8)
