I like that you are looking up at yourself. I guess I don't see many self portraits like that. Its kinda unique. Wonderful use of color. Only minor suggestion is that you may want to bring out your eyes more in future works. Either through reflection or color or both.

well this has been here a while but i've never seen it before and I have to say I like it, realy like the perspective Do you paint in thick oils or is the canvas real smooth and how long did such a plesent thing take?

The canvas is mostly smooth, there are more raised parts in the hair, but it's not really thick paint. this painting took about 30 hours streached over about a month.

Thre is a universe feeling, color, shading, light going on in this face. Very imaginative pose and great commnad of human proportions. I can visualize this painting, allow me to pretend, 8 feet in width, hanging on a big wall. Wonderful work.
