I created this image for a graphic arts scholarship contest. One morning I went out in our front yard and I noticed how beautiful the water drops from the rain looked on the bushes, so I took multiple photos. Later I combined two of the photos in Photoshop, then printed out a copy so I could trace over top of it on a clean sheet of paper. Once I was done tracing, I scanned that in and combined it with the other photos. Finally, I adjusted the color and added the text. This image represents all of the naturally beautiful things that we often don't notice. They remind me of how subtle the spiritual world can be, even though it is all around us.
