I've been a 3d "hobby artist" on and off since sometime around 2000 or so. I've never stuck with it long enough to get good or to learn any advanced techniques, but when I do "play around" I have fun.
I also started messing around with vector drawing, as I can't really draw. Using vector allows me to utilize shape deformation and tweaking to create my scenes.
As of right now, July 2018, I'm working hard toward a goal I've had for a decade plus, and that is to make physical card, dice and board games for adults as well as animations and some simple video games. To that end, I'm developing my own characters in vector. The style is simplistic but I believe it will be really good once I have several items completed.

The camera angle gives this image a wonderfull effect and the dark stormy sky fits perfectly.

I love the sky and contrast. The silhouette of the ruins looks awesome. I would bring the (subject) orc closer to the camera.

Hmmm, indeed that's what someone a bit farther away would witness. It's great :)

Fantastic...this is the view his friends see as they desperately race to assist they fallen comrade...

This would look great without the ogre too. Very strong scene.

Great job on everything, I especially like the lighting. Absolutely wonderful.

i think the mood of this version is much stronger than that of the previous one. i still think the knight should be avenged, but oh well :p by the way, did you try having the hero's hand stick out above them step thingies so you can see part of him trying to defend himself?
