A very interesting piece, indeed. As an avid AD&D player, I can say you've captured the essence of a Drow setting rather well, with the exception of the lack of arachnid decor. The Drow are devout followers of The Spider Queen, and the Matron's chambers would be heavily decorated in such motif. Matron Malice would also most likely have several of her High Priestesses in attendance, as well as the father, though he would be in a definate subservient position. All in all, however, this is a fine piece. Lighting and shadows seem to be just right, composition is good, and overall mood seems to be very well put forth. I'd like to see another version of this should you continue to develop it. Nice job!

thanks, it is still in the works, i just decided to get some opinions on the idea. i am still working on the snakeheaded whip, i need to go back to the books to see how many heads it actually had.:)

Now this one I like. Though CT is right, it needs more spider stuff, and the other daughters. Keep the father out of it though. He was out to destroy another House at the time. In fact, Drizzt's birth was used as magic in defeating the other House.
