Nicely done! The Victory is a great model. I suspect that the ships should be riding a bit lower in the water, perhaps to the edge of the black paint (I haven't watched Pirates of the Caribbean recently, so I can't be sure), and it would add more drama if we could see some of the crew. Other than that, a very dramatic image!

Very well done scene, and I love that ship model. As for sitting lower in th water - Not- she is heeled over on the Port tack and of course some of the Starboard waterline would be exposed. Very well done - from an old sea dog.

The ship needs to be lower in the water. The scene is excellent though as is the ship on fire. Fine render!

Actually, Ricki01, She does need to sit lower in the water. She may be on the port tack but she still sits too high on the surface. The models creator, Hackster didn't bring up the copper bottom texture high enough up the side of the ship. If this had been an actual ship, like the HMS Royal George, which was top heavy and healed over and sank with over 800 lives lost in 1782, or the swedish vessel Vasa that also healed over and sank in the 17th century being also top heavy, this ship rendered here would have followed suit. The actual waterline is close to the last rung of the ships ladder. Also, if this is supposed to be the Victory entering the battle of Trafalgar in 1805, you might show more ships of the combined French/Spanish fleet on the horizon. Also the day of the battle was fought in rough seas, afterwhich a storm scattered the ships that survived and many of the defeated and badly damaged enemy ships sank.

Where can you get this model from Hankster. I searched the Net but all I found was a wooden model. If that is what you used, how did you do it? Thanks.
