I sure hope this your interpretation of the image and not your mood! I don't feel a gloomyness regarding this? Indeed, it has a very rich satin look to it! However, if I was to mix these colors, I'd get mud :)! Bravo!

Oh yes, I see it. The face at the bottom of the image is indeed the face of inconsolable sorrow. Great textures throughout this image, really great work.
