Description
Created in Poser, posted in Photoshop, then over to infravision to eliminate those annoying little headers from photoshop that can interfere with uploads (since this is the beginner's gallery I thought I would share that little gem I learned from JeffH)
Moranya, the mage, was modeled by me, but has Ralaci's Deluna tex from the store. Her robe is Traveller's, from BBay, the fabric is from one of handspan's cloth tex packs, but the trim tex is mine. The texure on the pages of the open book is also a handspan cloth tex, 'oriental bridges,' I think. Worked great for book pages, eh? : )
I've downloaded so many free book models in the two weeks I've been composing this set the Good Lord alone knows where it came from.
The gorgeous table had no name on the readme, just an email of pilcat659@aol.com. I belive it came from 3dCafe. The bookself is famine's, from the PropsGuild, I think. The fans and textures are bloodsong's, available on her site.
The orb - I just spent half an hour hunting through my links for the site that furnished this and so many other fantasy models, but no dice. No readme either - I hung on to the zip and reopened it to check. All the textures on the orb are mine.

You have a very good concept, and you have made a really good start. However, your image is not very visible due to the jaggedness of the pixels. My suggestion would be that you antialias the image to remove the jagged edges and repost the image. It certainly would help in getting a better, clearer view. You seem to have put so much effort into this, it is a shame not to be able to see it.

Duh, I feel like a real idiot. I had not noticed the anti-aliasing box when I did the render. Used anti-alias this time and also more pixels per inch. Thanks, SR.

There's no shadows at all.

excellent concept :-D I really like the layout, and that your figures look less Barbie-dollish (like mine do...hangs head in shame) I love what you did with the orb. I'm green with envy...as my crystal balls always look just like bubbles :p
