Description
The Genoctopuss judges began chanting as the sea of magistrates thinned out. There before me stood an enormous Sixth-eon judge. Its second set of truth- tentacles had long grown in place. This one was real old, a third set had begun the descent from the tentacle-bladder and hung like spindly little fingers eager for validity.
A ship from an old past, long misbegotten floated in from the west, it slowed to a stop just under me. Ha! I had just realized that I was floating at least 50 dcm in the atmos-air. My heart leaped in excitement and terror as a light began to surface from below right in front of the massive judge.
The thought lawyer had melted into the wet background behind me, the 6-eon harbinger mentally held me at attention now. A perfectly circular lens rose out of the surface, increasing in size as it approached me. I could see warped reflections of the judge

I should not be trying to catch up on this just before bedtime! Hehe! (I just downloaded that ship model last night, although I won't ever be able to make it look this good.) :)
