Description
It's rendered in Terragen, but the ringed planet is from Celestia, pasted post-pro. I wanted to get the effect of the hyper-realist cover artwork you used to see on SF paperbacks at one time.

The orange tones are very powerful, don't know if you want to carry them through on the ringed planet or not, but I liked the render.

Ethesis, I thought about showing colour in the ringed planet, but figured that seen through atmosphere, it would just show as a pale shape, like the moon (which is in fact dark grey) seen from Earth in daylight. M.

Great colours, pov and lighting - nice post work

nice postwork, but you have to work on the surface - and i see the end of the terrain very clearly...

I like your atmosphere and postwork. I don't think it looks like the end of the terrain (even though it is).

You can't see the end of the terrain. The shadow in the foreground is a silhouette of the rock ridge in front of the camera. To the right the ground slopes up like those cliffs in the middle distance.
