Description

I was just about to go to bed last night when I noticed this ant crawling along my desk. I was kind of shocked to see it seeing as how it is the dead of winter. He must have come up from deep underground. The DOF is extremely tight when I get this close. You can see a "line" of focus along the surface.

Oh yeah, I used a polarized filter to combat the bright flash. I don't own any proper lighting yet.
