BIOi am a free spirit female from human race born in the finals of last century .... hhmmmmm, i do have trouble remembering whether i'm 29 or 99 but it's somewhere around there ... about who i really am?! i'm a dreamer, an optimist, and a compulsive liar, i'm a hunter of words, colours, of reading, of thumb wrestling and adventure, drawing and creating mean so much to me, i simply enjoy it, i actually didn't do digitalart before i started learning how to paint with adobe's elements + ps7, it was love at first sight, i drew a bit, but most of my creative energy was used to write or photography.
i take photography now to a diferent realm, what would you say if i told you i spent about 3 hours each day trainning with brushes? during weekend i can spend 8! hard to beleive? some people think that art appears magically, but it's all blood, sweat and tears, if you want to draw and paint well, practice, practice, practice, your art will improve so quickly right in front of your eyes!
the thing i enjoy the most in this gallery, besides the exposed art, is to read viewers perceptions on my work, some of it's positive, some of it's not, but just knowing that the artwork has made some emotional impact or connection makes everything worthwhile ;0]
i thank you all who took the time to view my work and find it worthy of their words, dreams do come true, keep dreaming, creating, keep the flame alive!!!

Yes, evocative. Lots of things. It is hopeful when you look up to light. Inquisitive, your hand stretched out, studying the shapes it makes and how light interacts with it. Beautiful. The crop is refreshing and feels new, it is simple and complex simotaniously. ;) Lovely my sweet.

my first association - The occupant by Roman Polanski's film - when he stand in front of the mirror, and reiterate a one words repeatedly and this words depreciate one's original meanings, sometimes when i look at my hand through a lens of camera and i have a background peculiar light, i have this surrealist feeling of unreal or new value, and you caught this moment, this is absolutely fantastic for me, thank you Tania!!

A most beautiful photographic work Tania! Simply marvelous and thought provoking!

There's an interesting ambiguity here - is she reaching for the light or is she hiding from it - shading her face with her hand. The physical disconnection between hand and face implies both and neither. Face and hand are smooth, almost featureless, everything dominated by the straight, hard angles of the light which in turn is juxtaposed by the roundness of the face. It is an uneasy, unsettling piece. It resists interpretation. The light seemingly illuminates everything and nothing and the unusual angles challenge our ideas of bodies. Excellent work.

@deleriad: is she reaching for the light or is she hiding from it so wonderfully pointed ... she is indeed doing both ;0]
@cockjuice: it is simple and complex simultaniously there ya go ;0]
