Description
Via Crucis
This is one that I havn't touched in a coupla weeks. I am not sure if I just tired of hand painting hair and clothes or if I've lost my 'divine inspiration'. If I ever return to this I will be adding Mary Magdeline's older sister, John the baptist, and one or two Roman guards.
In any case, I thought this would be a good time to try and gain some c&c and possibly gain some renewed passion for the piece.
you comments would be much appreciated

At first I thought it was inappropriate to depict a victim of crucifixion with his head held high and a fierce look on his face. Crucifixion was, after all, intended to be the ultimate definition of defeat: forced to endure unspeakable agony for hours or even days in public humiliation. But I quickly realized this could very well be how Christ faced this experience, for it was in this shameful death that he won the greatest victory of all time. I salute your inspired work!

Superb artistry and amazing detail, the black cloud and lighting really add to the power of the image! God bless in Jesus Saving Name!
