Welcome to my little corner of Renderosity. I am interested in many things besides art, for example, languages. I read 15 languages, and I have 140 languages on my web site. I don't really write other languages, though, so don't be surprised if I leave a broken comment for you. :) Please feel free to leave me a comment in another language, too.

I have a bachelor's degree in art, which I chose so I wouldn't have to sit in a classroom all day listening to people talk. :) I got very serious about art after the last of our seven children left home. Prior to that, I was busy homeschooling them. Besides visual arts, I love to make music. I play piano, organ, recorder (a wooden instrument somewhat like a flute), and classical guitar, and I sing. In the past, I have also played gamelan (a gamelan orchestra consists of sets of tuned metal gongs and bells with a couple of drums, and originated in Asia in places like Bali), I rehearsed for awhile with the local balalaika orchestra, playing autoharp, and I have studied with Xochimoki, a Latin American native musical group. In addition to music, I practice the martial art of taekwondo. I have a second degree black belt. Concrete art for me includes pottery (I sometimes design my own glazes, and I especially love raku), a little bit of sculpture, needlepoint (I use fancy yarns and stitches and sometimes invent my own), macrame, circular weaving, and I draw in color pencil. I also like to design artistic web sites. I have a passion for photography, and I am slowly working my way through scenic sites in Arizona and neighboring states. In digital art, I make art in Terragen, Bryce, Vue d'Esprit, Ultrafractal, Xenodream, and Apophysis. I am trying to learn Mojoworld. I think if it was me, I'd darken the landscape a little - either with postwork or atmos settings - the lighting just doesn't quite seem to match the threatening sky imo. That said though, the sky is truly excellent and the strata is good too.

Very well done. Only reserve I got is that the sky style, allthough it looks real cool does not match up well to the much more realistic ground. Other then that, it's beautiful.

like the landscape (water, surface, etc...), imho it's excellent. just the "striped" clouds arn't matching my taste... however, an excellent image

The strata is done perfectly on this amazing terrain! It has a very natural look! The storm seems to be already there, at least in the clouds! Excellent work! (Now, having a brighter screen, I can see it much better! Not half-blind anymore ;-) Ooops! Next time in german again!
