Hello, My real name is Terry. I have been painting and drawing ever since I can remember. I got my first airbrush at age 12, a Paasche VL, and still use it along with several others. I also use Paasche V and AB Turbo brushes. I airbrush with watercolors, gouache, ink, and acrylics. Lately I have been more into computers though, and the wonders of Terragen and Bryce. Thanks for coming by, and have a nice day.
I have a great website up: http://www.hack-and-slash.com Come check it out!BIOYou need to buy our book. The Grimmest of Grimms. It's a compilation of the original gruesome Grimms stories lavishly and lovingly illustrated by me and some great friends who are also artists. You will enjoy it as much as we enjoyed creating it.

ok, alpo, here we go: your terrain and point of view are very nice, no complains! on the left side, i can see the end of the terrain, but it is not too bad. i like your surface coloring, fits good with the terrain. acctually i also like the sky, but i highly suggest to reduce the suns corona size and/or the glow in the sky. it would look much better with a little sun and a bit darker clouds. go on, i would like to see more of your work! :-)

Great pov and nice surfaces
Alpo
Thank you Ronjrah for you insight. I agree.

this is fantastic, and very original. is it possible to reduce the detail in the green texture? for example, is it grass or forest.
Dinalt
I like it, the colours give it a real fantasy look. And the background's particularly impressive, as it looks like you're walking to a city. Was it purely a World Machine effect, or did you have to engineer the background ? Either way, it's an excellent image.

This is an excellent composition. I would suggest just a touch of 'sweetness' (increase the decay setting) to the atmosphere and perhaps sharpen the image a bit.

I would lessen the lumps a little ;)
Alpo
Thanks for all your comments. By the way Dinalt, the terrain file was all done in WM. I agree with the comments on the lumpiness and the lefthand dropoff.

It looks like a city in the distance! That's neat. It's a very nice image. I haven't been able to do much with World Machine, so I commend you for doing so well.
