Description

Kathleen Robertson of Austin, Texas, was awarded $780,000 by a jury of her peers after breaking her ankle tripping over a toddler who was running inside a furniture store. The owners of the store were understandably surprised at the verdict, considering the misbehaving little toddler was Ms. Robertson's son

I VOTED ON THIS BECAUSE THE IMAGE AND ALL THOSE STORIES( WHICH I CONFIRMED, SORRY HAD TO CHECK) COINCIDED PERFECTLY. THERE ARE WAY TOO MANY IGNORANT, SELF SERVING, DO NOT CARE ABOUT ANYONE OR THING BUT THEMSELVES, TYPE OF PEOLE OUT THERE.

The image is a very cool compilation of imagery. The stories are funny, but not surprising. These cases are usually decided by juries, juries who want to see corporate america get the shaft. Look at the lady who spilled her coffee on her hand and sued and the jury gave her $3 million, something turned out in appeal, but still...

Cuts and scrapes = $100,000. Broken joints and crap = $500,000. Scars $1,000,000+. Ability to sue = priceless. Good image, very good image.

Ha-Le-Lu-Jah brother/sister!!! It is a travesty that the system is bilked!!! Like the old lady the sued Mc Donalds because she was scalded by the hot coffee. The image is great, nice textures/layers!!!

Stupid people doing stupid things get awarded by more stupid people sitting as the jury. It would make fro great TV. If you happened to be a guest in the courtroom when soemthing like this happened you would stare dumbfounded at the sheer ignorants of the people involved, not knowint what to say. If you were the victim (say the home owners who were sued by the idiot intruder) you wouldn't know what to say out of utter shock, and the inability to understand. That is why stupid people should wear signs that say they are stupid, as Jeff Foxworthy says. "Here's yer sign,"

Sometimes our own justice system is NOT Just. I am appauled by such stories...have lived one my self...but on teh other end of the scale. While serving in the Marine Corps, during the desert Storm conflict, An instructor, while performing a hand-to-hand combat move, through me on my head, subsequently breaking my neck. I was discharged medically from the Marine Corps with a 10% disability. That came to about $82 a month. Ruined my career as a police officer. I know there are other VETs out there who's lives have been destroyed and receive very little compensation for serving their country. criminals, like in the stories above get more rights and compensation for...Doing Wrong. WHERE is the JUSTICE????
