Description

A new rendering of my Empire State Building. Similar to the previous one, but I like this one better. Compositing of two renders (one for the blurred background , and one for the building ) Thank you for viewing.

Lovely detail in the building! Something about the DOF though makes the building look like a miniature...takes nothing away from the model though, which is GREAT!

Wow... I like the building, have you modelled this on your own ? Even the dof with blurred background is really good :-)

Wonderful detail in the model. I do agree with EugeneTooms about the DOF. Just slightly reduce the background blur

Agree with kellendor. Honestly I don't believe that reality can keep abreast with this impression.

Nice job! The dof effect is too much- the background should be much sharper. If you had used such a long lens to get the bkgrnd so much out of focus the whole of the depth of the building would not be totally sharp. Great job though!

Excellent stuff. I agree with what folk say about the depth of field making it look like a model though. Still excellent though

Impressive modeling! As already mentioned, the DOF is not quite right as it makes the building look somewhat like a minature. It's also a tad bit too clean right now, but overall a very impressive achievement!

Thank you for your comments I agree with the depth of field problem. The blurring effect is too much exaggerated, but I cant reduce it because, my Manhattan model is not enough detailed in this area. Need to make a few more buildings :(
