Description

This is my first 3d anything that I've ever created, and when i saw it rendered....WOW!!!, is wat i thought. I am truly proud of how this turned out. I didn't really think how long the rendering would take, but 50 minutes is a long time!

Wellcome. This is a good beginner pic. 50 minutes is not a long time. ;-) Some of my pics needed about 20 hours on a 2 GHz machine. Try to improve the surface a bit there are some really good tuts.

20 hrs!!...hmm..., quite awhile...i am working on one right now, and it will take 4 hrs, i presume. I shouldn't have rendered it, because now that i see it, there is sooo much glare from the sun, reflecting on the water, i don't even know if i should post...

Saw this in the forums first - glad to see it made it into your gallery. Excellent first image, and looking forward to seeing more of your work. P.S. - if the glare from the sun on your next image is a bit harsh, try altering the reflection properties (from the water controls in Terragen).
