Description

Not sure about this one at all! I've had it in my folder for a while now and couldn't decide what to do with it! And then I thought: "Oh what the hell! I made it and spend lots of time on it, changing this and this and that and the texture and the frame and so on, so let's post it now!" Hope u will enjoy it! Mwah!

a mirage appears out of the whiteness, shimmers & ripples around the edges... has a real pleasing effect with the striking b&w graphic simplified feel but i know it takes a lot of time to get it to that point... well done pascale!! :]

First, I commented: "gives me the shivvers...like watching someone dying and having no way to save her. ::brrrr!:: "
Here is why I said that: As a viewer, I am looking upon the face of this person, and she is caught in some kind of vortex, sucking her down. Thick dark blood is pouring from her right eye, her nose, her mouth. Her pain-filled left eye pleads for a help she knows will not come.
When I look again at the thumbnail version, much smaller, I suddenly see her own fingers touching her face. There is no blood but there are dark shadows of those fingers. In the large version, I see the fingers only if I stand a distance away from the monitor.
So you see, there are two different pictures here!

This one is as if I were looking into a pool of mist that slowly started to clear revealing a goddess right before my eyes. Interesting image my dear. Keep up the great work.

Isn't it interesting how you can reduce someone to a few shades of gray, spread the enlarged pixels out and still see them? Really cool work, a little different maybe, but a new way of seeing that is just as valid as any other way. Excellent work.

For some reason the song Clementine keeps running through my head... "Ruby lips above the water Blowing bubbles soft and fine But, alas, I was no swimmer, So I lost my Clementine."
