I just wanted to say that I've learned more about photography since I bought my digital camera in 2005 than in the entire 10 years I dabbled with film. It's no longer acceptable to say: "I saw this fantastic _________, but missed the shot." You just can't miss the shot!!! I'm also amazed at the spectacular work appearing daily in all creative areas of Renderosity. There are a lot of talented people in here.
I also have another page with lots more photos. It has all of the stuff I'm shooting with my new Nikon D300. It's here:

I can't imagine anyone abandoning a house such as this! Upon closer inspection I noticed the boat in the back yard, maybe they left it due to a flood? Wonderful color contrasts you have here! :)

Ravishing!

I'm with Brenda. It would take something pretty dramatic to get me out of a place like this. Being where it is, one can only assume it was economic, more than anything else.

Wow! Beautiful scenery and VERY well captured, I might add. Though fractals are the geometries which desribe the shapes of lifeforms and matter, ya can't beat "the real thing" and this photo is the real deal.
