Whoa! Very ambitious! For a first try, it's very good! Most people don't even ATTEMPT waterfalls. You chose a very nice texture for the waterfall as well. I don't know if you wanted suggestions or not, but a volumetric cloud cylinder at the bottom might look nice, (like the spray)

Waterfalls are mega-hard things to create and to do it on your first try is very bold of you. I spent a ton of time on that type of render a while ago. If you would like to see the fruits of my labor you may see them in my gallery(sorry to plug my own work). I commend you for your efforts and hope you keep trying this type of scene. Once you have it down pat you feel so much has been accomplished and a sense of great pride.
