Description

Sun has gone down, temp has followed along. A slight mist settles over the water as the moon reflects golden along the side. A hedgehog cactus nestles in the sagebrush. The cat-tails show that this is a slow by steady creek, water all year. A wild mule comes in to drink, and the rabbits wait their turn. A beautiful night on the desert.

Love the sky, and them 2 little fluffy tails are a super touch. Keep on keeping on, I likes it.

Both your story and your picture are true representatives of the desert we love. Excellent work Frank.

This really appeals to an old desert rat like me! You named many of the species, and I'd like to note the prickly pear on the left. The rabbits do come out at night. I readily recognized the hedgehog. ;) It looks quite realistic, with just a touch of painterly quality to it.
