Description
Apophysis with the colors tweaked in photoshop.
I found this one while trying spiralize on julia variations.
It fits an idea that has been developing with my lights series. There was a gnostic theory that our world was made by an inferior deity who stole some of the spark of life from the real god. Ever since this stolen essence has been trying to escape from matter and return to its creator..
Now this theory may well fall to occam's razor but it makes a good myth to base some art around, thus I see my lights as trapped spirit trying to return to its creator.
