Pretty good! I may have some suggestions. If you move Mike a bit to the right, his arm and shoulder would be completely visible. At first sight, it looks like it's cut off by the portal. It is not, its technically correct, but it looks a bit wrong. Second, I think he should cast a deeper shadow. For the rest, great stuff.
