Still not satisfied with the edges around the pond, *sigh* but I'll keep trying. Comments welcome. :-)

The ground texture and background atmosphere is awesome. As for your pond edge, making the terrain a bit darker near the water would help. There's a tutorial in the bryce forum to do that if you need it. Keep up the great work!

Yup, missed that seam. Added just a touch more reflectivity to the monolith as well. Thanks for the comments!
